A happy and welcoming mural, light-hearted and non-moralizing. An invitation to talk with those around about what you are seeing, and a safe topic of conversation to discover how The Other thinks and feels. 

Working with abstract shapes that hint at many things but can never be pinpointed exactly democratizes conversation between people of various ages and backgrounds – nobody can assert that someone’s interpretation is wrong. It’s like cloud gazing, where half of the joy is trying to see what the other person sees. 

The feeling i want to convey with this work is of a big, friendly and disarming friend that guards the building, and is always so very happy to see you.
