Vardagsprotest XVII

Vardagsprotext XVII, 2017, textile, installation for OpenArt
Born from an interest in how people deal with life through small actions that create a sense of security and structure, instead of making big gestures. The idea that people are always expected to make choices and know how we think and feel about everything. In our everyday life, there are small moments of protest where we, instead of openly saying that we don’t agree, show indifference towards certain things and in that way we can disclaim responsibility for what happens next.

Sometimes all we want and can handle is to sit on the couch and watch cat videos.
